A three bedroom
detached stone house in need of modernisation for sale near
Alvaiázere , central Portugal. The house, which is set over one
floor, is connected to both mains water and electricity and has been
partially modernised though still requires some work carrying out.
The property measures 300 square metres of construction and is set

The house, which is set back from a
quiet road, is easy to access and is in a basic habitable condition.

At the rear of the house there is a
large open fronted storage building, which has a wooden beamed roof
and a concrete floor and could easily be converted into additional
living spaced. There are further storage buildings behind the house
as well as animal corrals. One of the storage buildings has an attic
which is accessed via an external concrete staircase.
The property is set on a plot measuring
900 square metres, all of which is relatively flat. There are a
number of mature olive trees in situ and the property is walled to
the front with a personnel and vehicle access gate.
The property is situated in the small
hamlet of Rego da Murta and there are several cafes and restaurants
within walking distance. The town of Alvaiázere , which has a range
of shops, mini-markets, swimming pool, school, pharmacies, banks,
post office and town hall, is approximately five kilometres drive
from the property. The property is easy to access and has good links
to the National 110 road.
The historic town of Tomar, which is
home to the Convento do Cristo, is around 25 kilometres by car.
Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, bars,
cinema, bowling alley, historic monuments, sports centres, hospital,
university and bus and train stations.
The closest airport to the property is
situated at Lisbon, which is around one hour and 40 minutes drive.
Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which
operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other
