A four bedroom detached villa with lake views for sale close to the world heritage town of Tomar in central Portugal.

 

The villa, which was constructed four years ago, is set over two floors and has ample living accommodation as well as a separate annex.

Ground Floor

There is a spacious entrance hall to the rear of the property, which has a ceramic tiled floor and an under stairs  storage cupboard. First Floor:

Access to the first floor is via a set of wooden stairs from the entrance hallway. These stairs lead to a gallery style landing. The front entrance door to the property is accessed off this landing. There are three double bedrooms, all with hardwood flooring and  fitted wooden wardrobes and patio doors which lead to covered balconies.

 

There is a master suite, which has an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower above, is double aspect. The master suite also has fitted wooden wardrobes and a hardwood flooring. There is a family sized bathroom to this floor, which is fully tiled and has a shower above.

 

Annex: To the rear of the property there is a single storey annex. The annex has a fitted kitchen and a bathroom as well as an undercover parking area and storage room. The kitchen in the annex has some base and eye level wooden cabinets and a marble work surface as well as a large traditional fireplace. There is an undercover, open fronted dining area with barbecue, bread oven, sink and built in work surface.

   Property Location Information

The property is located within the small hamlet of Casalinho, which is close to Castelo do Bode lake, and is a popular location for holiday homes. The property has views of the lake from the first floor and is within walking distance of several swimming areas and a cafe bar and restaurant.

 

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately ten to 11 kilometres away. Tomar is a popular bustling town with several supermarkets, shops, boutiques, cinema, builders merchants, schools, university, art galleries, municipal swimming pools and sports centres. Tomar hosts a weekly market every Friday which is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

 

Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir, is around a ten minute drive from the property. Castelo do Bode is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including sailing, swimming, canoeing, scuba diving, fishing and water skiing.

 

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' drive by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
