A three bedroom, detached traditional cottage for sale in Aveleira in central Portugal. The kitchen also has an exterior access door, which leads out to the rear of the cottage. There are three bedrooms to this floor, all of which have wood laminate floors. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a corner shower cubicle, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink.

To the side of the cottage there is an exterior concrete staircase which leads to a veranda, which has good views over the countryside. There is also an access door into the attic. The roof of the cottage has been constructed using eucalyptus beams. The attic space is currently being used for storage, however it could be converted quite easily into additional living accommodation if required.

The cottage is set on a plot measuring approximately 3,000 square metres. There is a vehicle entrance gate to the front of the cottage as well as a personnel gate. The land is all relatively flat and there is a good selection of mature grape vines and fruit trees on the land.

The cottage is located in the small hamlet of Aveleira, which is a short drive from the village of Pussos. The village of Pussos has a supermarket and cafe. The larger town of Alvaiázere, which has supermarkets, shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, petrol station, health centre, sports centre, library and swimming pool, is approximately five minutes by car.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 25 minutes drive by car. Tomar is a popular bustling town with several supermarkets, shops, boutiques, cinema, builders merchants, schools, university, art galleries, municipal swimming pools and sports centres. Tomar hosts a weekly market every Friday which is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' drive by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
