An old stone cottage for sale near
Alvaiázere in Central Portugal. The property, which is connected to
mains water, telephone and electricity, does require renovation and
modernisation work, but could be made into a cosy country retreat.
The cottage has been
constructed in stone and also has stone window and door surrounds. The
cottage is set on a plot measuring approximately 1,000 square metres.
Inside the cottage the
layout is typical of a property of this age. There are four room
divisions, all with wooden floors and ceilings. The main entrance door
leads directly into a living room, off which there are two bedrooms. The
kitchen also leads off the living room and is located to the rear of the
cottage.
The structure of the
cottage is in fairly good condition, though some of the roof tiles,
which are all original hand made ones, could need replacing. To the rear
of the cottage there are several outbuildings, which have been
constructed in red brick.
The cottage's land is
located to the side and rear and is all relatively flat. There are some
