Camarão
Grelhado (grilled shrimps) is another quick and
easy recipe you can prepare and create quickly and enjoy
with friends here in Portugal at a barbecue.
Shrimps are readily
available throughout
Portugal most
of the year from supermarkets and fresh at your local
town's market. Easy to prepare and thoroughly delicious,
especially if eaten using your fingers instead of
cutlery. Remember though have plenty of napkins at the
ready for your guests. |

Ingredients
1lb Prawns
2 Cloves
of garlic, crushed
1/2 cup of
green onions, chopped
1 tsp
ground cumin
1/4 tsp
salt
4 tbsp
wine vinegar
4tbsp
water |
Preparation
Make the
sauce by combining all the ingredients and grinding them into a
paste. Put the prawns on the skewers and brush with sauce. Grill
until done for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
Serve with
extra sauce on the side
