A three bedroom
detached cottage with outbuildings in need of renovation for sale
close to Tomar in central Portugal. The cottage, which is set over
one floor, is connected to both mains water and electricity and is
in a basic habitable condition.
The cottage is set
back from a small road, in an slightly elevated position providing
good views over the surrounding countryside. The cottage has single
glazed aluminium framed windows and doors with some internal wooden
shutters.
The main entrance to
the cottage leads directly into the living room, which has a tiled

bedrooms, all of which have concrete floors. One of the bedrooms has
a traditional style wooden ceiling. The bathroom, which has a tiled
floor and partially tiled walls, is also accessed off the living

a fair amount of work carrying out to bring it up to modern
standards, though is of a good size.
There is a more
modern style kitchen situated off the first. This kitchen also has a
concrete floor though is double aspect. There are some built in base
level units with a stainless steel sink and drainer and marble work
surfaces. This kitchen has an exterior access door which leads out

which wraps around one side of the cottage. The storage room is set
over two floors and could be incorporated into the living
accommodation quite easily. There is a wooden staircase which leads
to the first floor of the storage room, which has a concrete floor
and wooden beamed roof. On the ground floor there is a traditional
bread oven still in situ.
Behind the cottage
there is a spacious, detached outbuilding, which has been used to
house animals. This building was originally constructed in stone and
has been added to with red brick. It is set over two floors and has
a corrugated tin roof.
The property is set
on a plot measuring 920 square metres, the majority of which is
relatively flat. There is a good selection of mature fruit trees
including orange, lemon, Nespera, fig and olive. There is a gravel
driveway leading from the access road to the cottage with plenty of
off street parking.

by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into
and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries. |
