The property is in a good decorative repair and is fully double glazed throughout.  The main entrance to the farmhouse is located to the rear via a covered patio area. The rear patio also provides access to the property's laundry room and second living room.

The main entrance leads into a hallway, which has a tiled floor. Off this hallway there is a kitchen which has a range of built in base and eye level units. There is a large, traditional chimney which has been utilised to house a large range cooker. The kitchen has a tiled floor and partially tiled walls. There is a large walk in pantry opposite the kitchen, which also has a tiled floor.

There is a spacious dining room at the end of the hallway. This room has traditional style, partially tiled walls with a polished wooden floor. The dining room also has a bar to one corner. Off the dining room there is a living room which has a stone, central fireplace. The living room also has a polished wooden floor and wooden beamed ceiling. Off the living room there is an internal access door leading into a conservatory. There is a bathroom to this floor, which is partially tiled. The property is connected to both mains water and electricity and has a septic tank for effluent disposal. There is a well and a borehole on the property for irrigation purposes as well as a large water storage tank. The farm comes with 21,920 square metres of land and there is a huge variety of mature olive, pine and eucalyptus trees in situ.  The land is terraced and there are large flat areas. The property also had a large amount of grape vines. At present the current owners have cultivated a good deal of the land for growing peppers.

The closest town to the property is situated at Macao, which has a variety of cafes, restaurants, mini-markets, health centre, pharmacies, schools, sports centre and swimming pool. Macao is approximately 20 minutes by car. The larger town of Abrantes, which has a main line train station, hospital, university, schools, supermarkets, shops, cafes, river beach, health centres, cinema, swimming pools and castle is approximately 35 minutes by car.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around two hours by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
