Casa da Colina is on a private property on four hectares in central Portugal, close to the border of Spain near to Serra de Malcata and Serra da Estrela mountains. The area is surrounded with evergreen hills. It's nice to sit in the shadow of a olive tree or oak tree. 

Casa da Colina

Casa da Colina is a vacation house for four persons and has a living-dining room, complete kitchen with double sink, fridge, gas range, electric oven, microwave, washing machine. There are two bedrooms, one of which is a double and the second has been arranged with twin beds. There is a bathroom with shower sink and water closet.

Casa do Ferrador - Bed & Breakfast

In Casa do Ferrador there are two bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and is arranged as  a family room with double bed and one single bed. The bathroom has a steam bath and shower, toilet and double sink. Breakfast is possible.

Accessibility
All the rooms are situated on the ground floor in both properties. Around the house it is a flat level with concrete.

Outside
Casa do Ferrador is on a private ground of 40,000m2. There are terraces, barbeque and a small swimming pool in the garden, a field to play badminton and petance.

Skiing
We are near to the high mountains (Serra da Estrela) where you can skiing in wintertime (2,000 metres high).

The closest village to the property is situated at Penamacor, which is around six kilometres from the property, has banks, good restaurants, a supermarket, a weekly market, a small hospital.

The city of Castelo Branco is around 50 kilometres (40 minutes by car). Castelo Branco has large supermarkets, historic centre, castle, shopping centre, cinemas and hospital, and the closest train station is around 35 kilometres by car.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around two and three quarter hours' by car. Porto airport is around three hours. There is an alternative airport at Valladolid in Spain, which is around three and a quarter hours' by car. It is recommended guests hire a vehicle at the airport.
