Award winning self catering accommodation with swimming pool available for holiday let and longer term stays close to Tomar, central Portugal

A warm welcome awaits you at  Casa Rosden in Tomar. Our Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation with 10 x 4 metre swimming pool is located on the edge of a quiet Portuguese Village, minutes from the Centre of Tomar, and is  perfect for exploring the many attractions of Central Portugal, or for use as a base whilst house hunting.

The village has a newly refurbished shop, three bars and first Class Restaurant all within walking distance of Casa Rosden. The are several other good restaurants within a few minutes drive.

The Accommodation, which is completely self-contained and one one level, sleeps two to five in a modern studio apartment in the grounds of the owners' villa. There is a modern fitted kitchen area and a fully tiled shower room. There are two double beds; a single bed and a cot is also available upon request. Please see owners' website for details.

Outside you can enjoy use of the barbecue and  undercover verandas and seating areas overlooking Swimming Pool with views over the city of Tomar from the poolside.

Casa Rosden is truly a ‘home from home’ with Satellite English TV and  WiFi Internet Access freely available.

There is also a washing machine available for our guests to use.

Casa Rosden is strictly ‘non-smoking’ within the apartment, but guests can smoke freely within the grounds.

We provide all bedding, as well as towels, tea towels, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, toilet rolls, soap, and a hairdryer.

Casa Rosden is open all year round, we have a large secure off-road car park and pets may be accepted during winter months.

Castelo do Bode Lake, one of the largest lakes in Portugal is just five minutes by car from Casa Rosden.  Golegã, the ‘Capital of the Horse’ which holds the popular annual horse fair is 12-15 minutes drive.

The Blue Flag River Beach at Aldeia do Mato is 15minutes away. Here you can swim safely and hire canoes. The new IC9 road takes you to the Holy Shrine of Fatima, one of the Catholic Church's most visited sanctuaries in just 35 minutes. Fatima sees up to five million pilgrims visits every year. Batalha Monastery can be reached in 45 minutes and Óbidos, the mediaeval walled city in an hour. The capital, Lisbon, and the airport 60-90minutes.
