Bruce and Bella welcome you to a relaxing stay in their annexed cottage built over a 100 years ago and recently renovated for self-catering, retaining much of the traditional atmosphere of a small Portuguese country dwelling and located in the village of Pereiro de Alem. Casa Branca is located in a region of natural beauty of hills, forests, vineyards, orchards in the lush countryside and the opportunity to experience true Portuguese hospitality. The market town of Vila Nova de Poiares is just over two kilometres away with banks, post office, Monday market, a variety of shops, two supermarkets. There are several restaurants in the local vicinity that offer good value and reasonably priced meals, a number of which besides traditional Portuguese food have menus with a Brazilian influence. The cottage consists of a double and a twin bedroom, walk-in shower room, fully-equipped kitchen, off-road parking, spacious terrace and a large swimming pool for the exclusive use by the guests while in attendance, all within an enclosed garden. Supervision of their children is the total responsibility of the parents in and around the pool. The property can accommodate the physically impaired but it is not suitably able to facilitate wheel chairs. The garden is for use by the guests but the owner has access for pool and garden maintenance. Guests have the sole use of the pool while in attendance. It has a uniform depth of 1.5 metres and suitable for children who can swim. Supervision of all children in and around the swimming pool is the total responsibility of the parents. Glasses, bottles or any breakables are not to be taken into or in the close vicinity of the pool. Use of the pool by all guests is at their own risk.
