The cottage is situated in the small village of Casais, which is only three kilometres from the historic town of Tomar in central Portugal. The windows are double glazed with integral shutters. The window and door surrounds are marble and there is air conditioning fitted to the living room.

Off the living room there are two bedrooms, both of which have parquet floors. The oven, hob and extractor fan are all integrated and there is space for a dining table. There is a fully tiled pantry off the kitchen as well as an exterior access door, which leads out to the garden at the rear of the cottage.

There are two further bedrooms off the hallway, both of which have parquet flooring. The bathroom is fully tiled and has a bath with a shower above, toilet, bidet and a marble topped vanity basin with mirror above.

The garden at the rear of the cottage is completely fenced and private. There are a variety of mature trees and shrubs as well as a covered dining area and built in barbecue.

The cottage is located in the village of Casais, which is three kilometres north of Tomar. There are several cafes within walking distance of the cottage as well as a petrol station.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately ten minutes drive by car. Tomar is a popular bustling town with several supermarkets, shops, boutiques, cinema, builders merchants, schools, university, art galleries, municipal swimming pools and sports centres. Tomar hosts a weekly market every Friday which is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' drive by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
