The land is situated in the district of
Casais, which is approximately six kilometres north of the historic town
of Tomar in central Portugal. There are a variety of cafe bars and
restaurants in the local village and Tomar is approximately a ten minute
drive.
Tomar is home to the UNESCO listed Convento
do Cristo, which was constructed in the 12th century by the Knight
Templars. Tomar, though has many historical monuments, is a bustling
town with several supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, bus and
train stations, builders merchants, banks, university, hospital, bowling
alley, cinema and art galleries.
The land is easy to locate and has good
access links to the IC3 dual carriageway which links Tomar to Coimbra,
Portugal's third major city. The closest airport to the property is
situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours' by
