A two bedroom wooden house with lake views for sale close to the quaint central Portugal village of Dornes. The house, which is set over two floors, is also only 300  metres from the shore of Castelo do Bode lake, which is Portugal's second largest reservoir.

The house is connected to both mains water and electricity and is double glazed throughout. The house measures 149 square metres of construction and is set on a plot measuring 1,491 square metres. The main entrance to the house, which was built in 2003, is located at the side and accessed via a covered veranda, which wraps around two sides of the house providing good, uninterrupted views of the lake. The property is located only a short walk from the Centro Nautico de Zêzere, where it is possible to hire canoes and kayaks to use on Castelo do Bode lake, which is a haven for all water sport activities. There are other houses either side of the property though the area is relatively peaceful and quiet.

The closest village to the property is situated at Dornes, which is around seven kilometres drive. Dornes is a quaint village, which has several cafes and shops and a hexagonal stone tower constructed by the Knights' Templar.

The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere is around 12 kilometres drive. Ferreira do Zêzere has supermarkets, shops, banks, restaurants, cafes, school, sports centre, library and bus station.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 25 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular location for visitors and has a large variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, bus and train station and other historic monuments.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one and three quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
