The cottage measures 95
square metres of construction and is set on a plot measuring 114 square
metres. The Both cottages are set on the road and are semi-detached.
The structure of the cottages are in relatively good condition, however
it will require restoration and renovation work inside.
Cottage One: This
cottage has stone window and door surrounds and internal wooden doors
and frames. The main entrance door leads directly into a living room
which has a wooden floor and ceiling. Off this living room there are two
bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors and ceilings. The kitchen is
accessed off the living room. The kitchen is basic and has a traditional
large fireplace. Access to the attic is via the living room. The attic,
which has a exposed eucalyptus beamed roof, is spacious and has a gable
end window.
Cottage Two: The
second cottage does require more renovation work. Inside the cottage all
the original floors, internal walls and ceilings have been removed
leaving one large space. This cottage has a large adega in the cellar,
which has exposed stone walls.
To the rear of the
cottages there is a garden, which has some mature fruit trees. There is
an additional annex which has a eucalyptus beamed roof and is open
fronted. |
