detached cottage with garden for sale close to Tomar in central
Portugal. The cottage, which is set over two floors, is connected to
both mains electricity and water. The cottage has aluminium framed

good state of repair, though would benefit from painting to the
exterior. The cottage has many traditional features including a
wooden beamed roof. The property has been pre-installed for central

does have some mature fruit trees and although the land is situated
on an incline this has been terraced.
The cottage is
situated on the edge of the village of Linhaceira, which is around
ten minutes drive south of Tomar in central Portugal. Linhaceira is
a lively village and has several cafes, mini-market, health centre
and petrol station.
The historic town of
Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is a
bustling market town with supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants,
bars, pharmacies, banks, gardens and bus and train station as well
as many historic monuments. Tomar also boasts a university,
several sports centres, health centres, hospital, municipal gardens
and historic bridges spanning the River Nabão, which runs through
it.
The closest airport to the property is
located at Lisbon, which is serviced by several low cost airlines
which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and
