The cottage is set over
one floor and is detached. The cottage does require renovation and
restoration work, but could be made into a cosy country cottage.
The cottage is set on a
gravel road, which receives little traffic, and it has good views over
the surrounding valley. The cottage measures approximately 50 square
metres of construction. The window and door surrounds are stone and the
walls of the cottage are also stone. To the rear of the cottage there is
a brick built extension.
Inside the cottage the
layout is typical of a property of its age. There is a living room, off
which there are two small bedrooms. There is a rustic Portuguese kitchen
with large open fireplace. There is storage room, which has independent
exterior access to the front of the property.
The cottage is set on a
plot measuring 5,000 square metres of land. The land has some terraces,
which are flat, then it slopes gently. There are some mature fruit trees
including orange and lemon. The cottage is situated in the area of
Madelena and there are neighbouring properties, however these have been
restored and do not impede on the cottage's privacy. |
