The house, which
measures 135 square metres of construction, is set on a plot measuring
700 square metres. The house has good views over the village of
Martinchel and is easy to locate. The house will have pre-installation

The house is situated on the outskirts of
the village of Martinchel in central Portugal. Martinchel is located on
the edge of Castelo do Bode lake - Portugal's second largest reservoir.
It is an attractive village which has several cafes, restaurants, a mini
market, ecological museum, local council offices, a petrol station and a
pharmacy.
Castelo do Bode lake is popular for all
kinds of watersports including swimming, canoeing, water skiing, sailing
and water skiing and there are many swimming areas close to the village
of Martinchel.
The larger towns of Abrantes and Tomar are
around 15 minutes drive from the house. Abrantes has several
supermarkets, a hospital, schools, pharmacy, banks, shops and
restaurants. The historic town of Tomar also has a selection of
supermarkets, schools, banks, train and bus station, museums, art
galleries and the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo which was once the
southern headquarters of the Knight Templars.
The closest airport to the house is
situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours'
drive. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which
operates scheduled flights into and out of the United Kingdom. |
