   Full Property Description

A detached four bedroom house in the final stages of construction for sale close to the town of Torres Novas in Central Portugal.

The house, which is set over two floors, has pre-installation for central heating, a surround sound music system, air conditioning and central vacuuming. The house is fully double glazed and has electric, integral shutters. The house measures 240 square metres of construction and is set on a plot measuring approximately 420 square metres, which is walled.

Ground Floor: The main entrance leads into a spacious central hallway, which will have a tiled floor. Off this hallway there is a spacious living room, which has a set of patio doors leading to a covered terrace at the front of the house. There is a family-sized bathroom to the first floor, which is fully tiled. The bathroom has a large hydro-massage shower cubicle, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. There is also a storage cupboard on this floor, which is within the roof void.

The house is set on a plot measuring approximately 420 square metres. There is a driveway to the side of the house, which will have traditional cobble setts inlaid. There is a detached garage at the rear of the house, which is large enough to accommodate up to one vehicle. Adjacent to this garage there is a covered dining area.

   Property Location Information

The house is located in the village of Meia Via in central Portugal. Meia Via has a range of cafes, shops and a mini-market. The larger town of Torres Novas, which has supermarkets, shops, banks, pharmacies, castle, art galleries, schools and hospital is approximately five kilometres from the house.

 

The house is easy to locate and has good access links to the A23 east west dual carriageway. The town of Entroncamento, which has hypermarkets, shops, main line train station, museums, cafes and restaurants is a short six kilometre drive.

 

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately ten to 15 minutes drive by car. Tomar is a popular bustling town with several supermarkets, shops, boutiques, cinema, builders merchants, schools, university, art galleries, municipal swimming pools and sports centres. Tomar hosts a weekly market every Friday which is popular with both locals and tourists alike.

 

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours' drive by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
