First Floor: The staircase leads into a spacious living room, which has a tiled floor. There is an exterior access door off the living room which leads to a veranda, which has good views over the village. There are two bedrooms to this floor, both with tiled floors. One of the bedrooms has built in wooden wardrobes. There is also a fully tiled bathroom with toilet, bidet and pedestal sink.

The house is situated in the small village of Soudos in central Portugal. The village has several cafe bars and a mini-market. The larger, historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is approximately 11 kilometres drive from the house.

Tomar has several large supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, shops, banks, schools, pharmacies, health centres, a hospital, university, cinema and bus and train stations. The closest airport to the house is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a quarter hours by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
