Casa Cabine is a self contained one bedroom apartment, set in a traditional Portuguese house located in a scenic village just a 10 minute drive from the historical city of Tomar in central Portugal. The pilgrimage town of Fatima is only a 30 minute drive away and a short distance from here you will find Batalha famous for its gothic monastery. This beautiful rustic house accommodation is set on the ground floor of the property with a well kept garden and patio area. There are olive, orange, persimmon, apricot, pear, cherry, Clementine and lemon trees as well as grape vines within the well looked after garden. From the patio you can not only enjoy the beautiful garden but also relax looking out at a view of olive groves and rolling hills which is uninterrupted. The accommodation comprises of the following: Two private entrances (one from the street & one from the patio); Parking space available; Entering the double door entrance from the street you will walk into the reception area. On your right is the open plan lounge kitchen area which consists of a fully fitted kitchen including a 4 ring gas cooker with oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, washing machine, fridge with small freezer and single sink. There is also ample cupboard space. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery will be supplied. There is also a breakfast bar with seating for up to four people and satellite television (with English speaking channels available such as the BBC and ITV). In the spacious lounge area you will find two comfortable sofas and a coffee table. To the left of the reception you will find the double bedroom with an en suite shower room. There is ample wardrobe space and a bedside lamp for night reading. As the accommodation is in a traditional Portuguese house you will find that the accommodation is cool in summer and warm in winter due to the thick (60 centimeters) stone walls. A fan is available in summer and in the colder months oil heaters are available should you need them.
