Casa Pequeno Paz has three apartments, providing for eleven people total (plus a child's bed) and a parking space for three cars. You can also rent the apartments Casa, Adega and Estudio seperately.

The Casa is in authentic Portugese style and provides room for two to seven persons. The apartment is on the first floor with a large kitchen with open fireplace, a living room, two bedrooms (one double and two single beds) and bathroom. On the second floor there is the roomy terrace and another large bedroom (one double and one single bed) with a wash-hand basin. Sitting on the terrace you have a wide view over the valley and the local activities in the villages.

The Adega is a comfortable residence for two people. The influences of the Arabian history of Portugal are prominent in this ground floor-apartment with large living room, kitchen, a bedroom (double bed) and bathroom. You can also use the frontyard and outside summerkitchen.

The Estudio has a roofed over veranda. The apartment is light and bright with a high ceiling and is a suitable atelier for the artists amongst you. This atelier provides for one (or two) person(s). There is an open kitchenette, a double bed and on the connecting veranda is the bathroom. Here you can sit in the backyard and also use the outside water-bath.

Either which apartment you rent there is the possibility to make use of the terrace above the Casa, the summerkitchen in the frontyard of the Adega or the water-bath in the backyard near the Estudio.

Casa Pequeno Paz is the last house on the mountain slope above the village Douro with a view over the valley. You are located in the middle of country life. The green heart of Portugal: the micro-climate in the peacefull valley provides a large variety of plants, flowers and (fruit) trees. An excellent area to gain rest and peace, to hike or bike, to swim and enjoy the sun at the river beaches.

Douro is located on walking distance from Figueiró dos Vinhos. A city with a central market, restaurants, cafes, a library, cinema, indoor swimming pool, hospital, pharmacy, shops, supermarkets and bus station. Other cities nearby are Castanheira de Pera, Pedrogão Grande, Pombal and Coimbra. There are much activities to do and cultural places of interest in the surrounding areas. Estudio – 185€ (based on 1 person)

Adega – 235€ (based on 1-2 persons)

Casa – 285€ to 385€ (based on 1-2 to 7 persons)

Casa & Estudio – 435€ (based on 8 persons)

Casa & Adega – 485€ (based on 9 persons)

Casa, Adega & Estudio – 535€ (based on 10-11 persons)

Long Term Winter Rental (from the 1^st November to the 31^st March).

The apartment Casa 350€ per month excluding electricity, gas & water.

Deposit

The deposit of 50€ is due for each seperate apartment and will be handed over to the housekeeper when receiving the keys of the apartment(s). This deposit will be returned at the end of your stay. Also see our houserules.
