has a traditional wood beamed roof and large Portuguese style chimney as
well as stone window and door surrounds. The house briefly comprises:
Ground Floor:
There is a large storage room to the ground floor of the house, which
has a double metal door to the front of the property. This storage space
covers the entire footprint of the property.
First Floor: The
main entrance is located to the side of the house, via a sloped bank.
The layout of this floor is very traditional for the age of the
property. The entrance door leads directly into a living room. Off this
living room there are three bedrooms and a traditional rustic kitchen
with large fireplace. The floors are wooden and there are wooden
ceilings to this floor. There is an access hatch to the attic, however
there is no permanent staircase.
To the rear of the house
there is an open side store, which has been used to for logs. In
addition to this there is a brick build storage shed, which has been
used for housing animals.

plot measuring around 1,200 square metres. The land is located to the
rear of the house and it is all relatively flat. There are several

The house is located near the village of
Pias in central Portugal. The village of Pias, which has a cafe bars,
mini-market, church and school is approximately one kilometre from the
house. The larger town of Ferreira do Zęzere is around five kilometres
from the house.
Ferreira do Zęzere has several supermarkets, banks,
schools, bus station, shops, builders' merchants, restaurants and bars.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento
do Cristo - once the southern European headquarters of the Knight
Templars, is around 20 minutes drive from the house. Tomar is a popular
town with schools, university, museums, library, art galleries, shops,
restaurants and bus and train stations.
The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours' by car.
Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate
regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom.
