The villa has
an oil fired central heating system and is pre-plumbed for air-conditioning and a
central vacuum system. The master bedroom
looks out onto the swimming Pool and has a fully tiled en-suite
shower room with vanity basin, toilet and heated towel rail.
The
lounge, eight metres by five metres, has tiled flooring and double aspect patio doors,
overlooking the barbecue and annexe to one side, and the veranda and
swimming pool to the front. There is a feature stone fireplace
with recirculation hot air, log burning Salamander fire, which supplements the central
heating.
The other two double bedrooms, both have built in
wardrobes and share the fully tiled family bathroom, which has a

pool is 10 x 4 metres and has a depth of 1.5 metres. There is a Poolside
shower on the balustraded sunbathing terrace with views
overlooking the city of Tomar, with the Knights' Templar castle
in the distance. Steps lead down to the Pool Machinery Room and
the large gated, secure car park with space for up to ten vehicles. There are
two sets of double front gates, one of which
accesses the visitors car park with the other leading to the
villa and annexe.
The villa and annexe are set 50 metres back from the newly tarmaced road,
which leads up to the village of Portela, where there are three
café Bars, an award winning Restaurant, and a newly refurbished
village shop, selling basic groceries and fresh bread. It is a
short drive from the beautiful Castelo do Bode lake and a few
minutes to major roads leading to the North and South of
Portugal.
Low cost
airline, Easy Jet, now have a base at Lisbon Airport, which is a
60-75 minutes drive away and there are daily coach and train
services to Lisbon from Tomar. The property is
in excellent decorative order throughout. It is ready to move
into and furniture can be included in the sale if required.
