Large, out of town
shopping centres are catching on in Portugal and are very popular with
most people. However unlike the enormous malls which have been
constructed in the United Kingdom, Portuguese shopping malls are more
intimate. Most large cities have a variety of shopping centres and most
large towns have either one or are getting one built.
Unfortunately the rest
of the western worlds' love affair with shopping is being adopted by the
Portuguese and even on bank holidays and Sundays you will find a steady
stream of window shopping walking the isles of these glassed in streets
of shops. |
