The Rio Nabão (River Nabão), is a relatively short river in Portugal running a course of only 66 kilometres. The river rises in central Portugal, in the hills surrounding the market town of Ansião.

The Nabão was formerly called Nabanus by the Romans and flows into the large Rio Zêzere. The Rio Nabão runs through the central Portugal town of Tomar and the fast flowing waters were once used to power factories located on the river in Tomar.

The Rio Nabão is currently undergoing a programme of gentrification in Tomar with new foot and road bridges being constructed as well as promenades and landscaped gardens. The Rio Nabão is also associated with the legend of Santa Iria (Saint Irene).
