The property has been restored to retain many original features including exposed stone Xisto walls. The property has wooden framed windows and exterior doors with some internal wooden shutters. The main farmhouse, which is set over two floors, has a spacious double aspect kitchen with a variety of built in wooden base and eye level cupboards with marble work surfaces. One of the bedrooms has a tiled floor with the other having a wooden one. The bathroom is fully tiled bathroom  and has a shower, toilet and marble topped vanity basin.

The farmhouse is set over two floors, though the ground floor is currently used for storage purposes, though could be converted into additional living space quite easily.

Adjacent to the farmhouse there is an annex building with two self contained apartments. The annex is set over two floors and has also been restored. Each of the apartments has a large living room with fireplace, an equipped kitchen, bathroom and double bedroom with windows overlooking Castelo do Bode lake.

There is also a large open fronted garage, large enough to accommodate up to three vehicles with plenty of space for a work shop and storage area. Behind the farmhouse there is a stone building for use of storing firewood.

The property is set on a plot measuring 9,268 square metres, which consists of partially level fields and forest. The land is partially walled and fenced and there is a path providing access to Castelo do Bode lake, which is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, fishing and scuba diving, close by. The gardens immediately surrounding the farmhouse have been landscaped with a variety of mature shrubs and palms.

The closest cafe to the property is approximately three kilometres away where there is also a restaurant and service station. The closest village to the property is situated at Dornes, which is around five minutes drive from the property. The larger town of Ferreira do Zęzere, which has supermarket, shops, banks, restaurants, cafes, school, sports centre, library and bus station, is around 10 to 15 minutes drive from the property.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 25 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular location for visitors and has a large variety of cafes, restaurants, bars, bus and train station and other historic monuments.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around one and three quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
