The
Scolopendra Cingulatus centipede has a set of claw like
jaws, which it uses to capture and paralyse it's prey. A
bite from a Scolopendra Cingulatus can be painful akin
to a wasp or bee sting, though in certain cases cause
anaphylactic shock.
Scolopendra Cingulatus are nocturnal and prefer dark,
cool places before sunset, coming out to feed at night.
They are fast moving centipedes and it is best to check
your shoes, slippers and bed before slipping into them
to avoid a nasty bite. |
