Carnival in Tomar 2008 |

There was a party atmosphere in Tomar today, Tuesday 5th February when thousands of people took to the streets for an historic event. For the first time in 17 years Tomar in Central Portugal hosted its own Carnival Parade. Though there were clouds in the sky this did not deter thousands of spectators who turned out to watch the historic parade. And while the costumes within the parade were brightly coloured, spectators joined in the party wearing an assortment of costumes. |
